Check Out Haan FS20 Steam Cleaning Floor Mop for $82.68

Haan FS20 Steam Cleaning Floor Mop Review

I love what the Haan Steamer promises, sanitized floors. I have used it twice and was delighted at the cleanliness of my wood, laminate and tile floors. It has the best results for the least amount of effort. I look forward to using it on my carpets. The only thing I would suggest is purchasing extra pads. My Haan came with two and it is recommended that they are washed by hand or in a washing machine on the gentle cycle. I had to use it on 2 consecutive days and now have to wash the pads prior to using again. I also recommend using it with an extension cord to easliy move from one room to another without starting the warm up process again.

finally something that lives up to the hype - skeptic -
This product works great. No chemicals, no dirty water, no b.s, takes a little longer to mop but when you walk on the floor with bare feet you can feel the difference. Oh and the carpet sanitizer works, it didn't clean the rug but it did something because I had the same sensation on my feet after I used it as I did on my floors. Oh and don't expect it to clean grout not that any mop I ever owned did that. If you are going to use it a lot I recommend getting the extra pads.

ok, if you tinker with it - J. Shin - Hawaii
I initially had another brand of steam mop which did a decent job but broke within days of purchase (twice) so I gave this a try. Easy to assemble and easy to use. The mop pad sticks on like velcro attachment and the unit looks well made. The filled water takes about a minute or two to heat up and is suppose to start coming out as steam. Well, my unit heated up then a lot of the fill came out initially as hot water and what I was left was about 10 minutes worth of actual steam. A work around I found is to NOT close the fill cap until you see the water inside bubbling - this keeps the heat sensor from activating too soon and holds the hot water in the unit until it actually turns to steam. The other problem is that the steam power seems fairly weak and has hard time actually making it past the pad so you have a lot of wet water left on the floor. Another work around I've learned is to NOT put the cloth pad on but do the floor without it first. This directs the steam directly onto the floor without any resistance and the floor gets very hot (actually hot enough to kill the germs and bacteria as is intended for). Just do not hold it stationary in any one position for long unless you want to damage the floor. After the initial pass without the pad, I go back with the pad (or use a dry mop) to actually wipe the floor of remaining moisture. So, the unit is only so-so if used as instructed as the steam just isn't strong enough thru the pad to be very efficient.

good steamer - Ruthann Baldwin - El Paso, TX
Good steamer, have to change pads frequently to prevent streaking. I have a large home and I go thru about 4-5 pads every time I mop. It does a great job on the wood/laminate floors. I love that. I am not overly impressed with the job it does on the tile floor. The handle also broke the second time i used it but they are sending a replacement part quickly. I hope it will hold up over time and continue to get better with the streaking as read in other reviews.

Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate

I ordered the iron and it was in my hands within 2 days, I love the way it steams my clothes and the feature that allows you to take the water well off is so convienent! I had looked at all the consumer reports and they are exactly right. I can say this is the best iron I have had in a long time!

My family bought a Panasonic iron in the early 90 and it lasted us about seven years. My parents bought another brand because they could not find a Panasonic in the store and the cord retract broke within two weeks. When I got my own place I bought this one and love it. Sturdy, does not leak, and is weighted well. No complaints after two years.

Panasonic Steam Iron with Micro-Mist Spray Review

I absolutely LOVE my cordless iron. I've wanted one for years and waited until the reviews got better. I so enjoy ironing without hassling with the cord and plug. No animals tripping over the cord. I no longer have to deal with the cord getting tangled. I find I'm willing to iron more often. This iron gets hot enough for the type of ironing I have to do. The steam is great and I like the water spritzer. You need to try this!!

Panasonic Cordless Steam/Dry Iron

This is my second cordless Panasonic iron. Mom took my first one after ten years it still worked like new, so I had to replace it. I will never iron with a cord again! It glides easy, gets hot fast has all the steam I want, sits in its own holder, that I can put on the table or chair next to my ironing board. It's just the best one! It's the ONLY one as far as I'm concerned. I did try to get mom a cheaper one, but it arked, sparked and leaked water. That's how she got mine, so I had to order another Panasonic. Shouldn't have went cheap. You get what you pay for and here, you get a great iron!

Panasonic NI-C78SR Steam/Dry Iron with Stainless-Steel Soleplate Review

When my very expensive iron stopped working a while back, I starting searching on Amazon for a replacement. This Panasonic had great reviews at a great price.

I'd been having problems with creases in my clothing when ironing backwards because fabric was getting caught in the soleplate. Since it was such an expensive iron, I blamed myself. Well, it wasn't me! This iron has the smoothest soleplate of any iron I've ever owned. It actually makes ironing fun (if you can believe that!).

I love the removable water reservoir. I'd had problems with my old iron when a vacuum would form in the reservoir as I was filling it, and water would run all over the iron.

The retractable cord is nice, too -- just make sure you read the directions, since the button for it isn't obvious. (It's at the bottom of the handle.) I'm right-handed, so the cord position is not a problem for me.

Temperature settings seem accurate, the steam and spray buttons are easy to use and well-marked, and there are three settings for continuous steam (off, low, high).

I find the temperature button a little difficult to turn because there isn't much clearance between it and the handle, but that certainly does not take away a star. Also, the water reservoir button is located a little close to my index finger -- it's just a tiny bit annoying.

Bottom line...try this before investing in one of those expensive irons and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Panasonic Steam Iron/Dry Iron, NI-C78SR - gooch49 -
I purchased this Panasonic Steam Iron because my Rowenta bit the dust in only two years. I will never buy another one even though it was my favorite iron. The Panasonic is okay but could use more steam holes. This model has a retractable cord and when ironing my hand occasionally hits the button and retracts part of the cord. Otherwise, it does a good job of ironing and I like an iron with a little weight to it which this one has. So far it hasn't leaked any water all over my clothes.
